App Start:
On the start screen you can either edit the preconfigured settings by going to 'Settings->Scanner' and change some values or you press the 'Scan' button directly in order to search for spy apps. If you chose to edit settings next to the checkboxes you will find to a button shown as a question mark. It will show you a more detailed description of the particular feature.
Scanning, Ignore list:
In case the scanner detects an Anti-Theft app and you do not want the scanner to detect that kind of apps, you may want to go to Settings->Scanner and uncheck 'Include anti-theft'. Finally you only need to press the 'Save' button.
If PrivacyScanner detects an app, you do find legitimate you either want to tell us about (on the result page go to 'Details'->'Report as safe') (you can also add the reason why you think the app is safe), or you add the app to your personal whitelist (on the result page, to do this go to 'Details'->'Add to ignore list').
In some occasions you may want to remove an app from the ignore list. In order to do that, you navigate to 'Settings->Ignore list' click on the particular 'Details' button and then finally on 'Remove from ignore list'.
